A-Tennis: AI Coach for iPhone and iPad

Effective date: June 8, 2026

A-Tennis: AI Coach helps tennis players review short practice videos and get AI-powered coaching feedback. Sign in with Apple is used for account access and AI credit control. The app does not use advertising, does not use tracking SDKs, and does not sell personal data.

Information We Collect

The current version of A-Tennis: AI Coach may process information that you choose to provide when using the app, including tennis videos you record or import, selected key frames from those clips, selected stroke type, analysis mode, player level, AI analysis results, app-specific skill level estimates, saved coaching notes, player profiles, optional player profile photos, and app settings.

If you sign in with Apple, the app may store your Apple-provided user identifier, optional email address or Apple private relay email address, optional display name, active session token, AI credit usage, account creation date, and subscription or Pro status information when those features are available.

Camera, Photo Library, and Video Clips

With your permission, the app may access your camera so you can record tennis clips and may access your photo library so you can import existing clips. You choose which clips to record, import, trim, and analyze.

The app is designed for short tennis practice clips. You should avoid recording or uploading sensitive personal information, private conversations, or people who have not agreed to be recorded.

AI Video Analysis

To provide AI coaching feedback, the current app sends selected key frames from your trimmed clip, clip timing, selected technique, analysis mode, player level, and account session information securely to the A-Tennis backend. The backend uses Google Gemini to analyze that information and return swing feedback, visual analysis points, drills, and an app-specific skill level estimate. The current MVP does not intentionally upload the full original source video file for AI analysis.

Selected frames, prompts, metadata, and AI responses may be processed by the AI provider according to that provider's terms and privacy policies. Google Gemini API information is available from Google AI for Developers and the Google Privacy Policy.

We do not intentionally contribute user clip frames, prompts, or AI responses to Google datasets for model training. AI feedback is coaching guidance only. It can be wrong or incomplete. It is not medical advice, injury advice, professional coaching replacement, or a certified biomechanics diagnosis.

Local App Data

The app may store information locally on your iPhone or iPad so that history, progress, and settings can function properly. This local information may include:

Optional player profile photos are stored locally on your device in the current MVP. They are not intentionally sent to the AI backend unless that person also appears in a tennis clip that you choose to analyze.

Accounts, Cloud Sync, Advertising, and Tracking

Sign in with Apple is used to create an account, protect free AI credits, and support subscriptions, AI credits, and account-based support. The backend stores the minimum account information needed to authenticate requests, track AI credits, and unlock eligible features.

The current version does not include developer-operated cloud sync for your video history or training plan. Those items are primarily stored on your device unless you choose to send selected key frames and related metadata for AI analysis. The app does not include third-party advertising networks, tracking SDKs, or third-party analytics SDKs.

If cloud sync, analytics, or additional AI providers are added in a future version, this Privacy Policy will be updated as needed.

Purchases and Subscriptions

The app offers A-Tennis Pro subscriptions and may offer extra AI credit packs. Payment processing is handled by Apple through the App Store. The developer does not receive your full payment card details from Apple.

The app may receive purchase and subscription status information from Apple, such as product identifier, transaction status, renewal status, expiration date, refund status, or cancellation status, so the app can unlock paid features, restore purchases, and provide support.

Support Requests

If you contact the developer for support, the developer may receive your email address and any information you choose to include in your message, such as app version, device details, screenshots, or a description of the issue.

Data Sharing

The developer does not sell, rent, or trade your personal data. Data may be processed by service providers only as needed to operate the app, provide AI analysis, maintain security, or comply with legal requirements.

Data Retention and Deletion

Local app history, locally saved clips, thumbnails, optional player profile photos, and settings remain on your device until you delete them in the app, clear app data, or uninstall the app. The current backend does not intentionally store original source videos or trimmed video files after an AI request. Server-side data used for account access, AI credits, security, troubleshooting, or legal compliance is retained only as long as reasonably needed for those purposes.

You can request account deletion inside the app. Account deletion removes your server-side account record, optional email address, optional display name, active session, and related account profile data from the AI backend.

To prevent free-credit abuse, the backend may retain a minimal non-public ledger that contains a hashed Apple user identifier, AI credit usage, deletion date, and deletion count. This ledger does not include your name, email address, videos, photos, coaching notes, training history, or player profile names. If you sign in again later with the same Apple account, prior free AI usage may still apply.

Local videos, local analysis history, and local player profiles stored on your device may remain on that device until you delete them in the app, clear local app data, or uninstall the app.

Children's Privacy

The app is not directed to children under 13. The app does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Apple Services and Diagnostics

Apple may provide App Store, TestFlight, crash, diagnostic, purchase, or subscription information to developers according to Apple's own privacy policies and your Apple device settings.

Changes to This Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
